So, we started with the two bedrooms, in January. We ripped out the carpet, painted the bedrooms, repaired the sub flooring.... and such....and the other repairs that needed to be made.... and prepared for the carpet to arrive.......
.....................tick tock...tick tock...
The carpets arrived for the bedrooms. So happy. :) We could then move the furniture back into the rooms and then begin moving the living room futniture out, and prepare to paint, and wait for the arrival of carpet the second week of Feb. we ordered.
About now....we figure out we are way too tired, and are TOO OLD to be doing this hard work by ourselves..... too late... we are into it now.
The living room, cleaned out of all carpet, and ready to paint. TV, and our chairs are all that are left in the room. It was very cold in the house for the two or three weeks while we where going thought this. We wore extra layers ....I do not recommend a "winter" remodel. It can be a very cold. The furniture was stored in the dinning room and family room as space was found here and there. My sister was aghast, when she found out we were doing this and could not figure out where we where putting all our stuff. We found a space for it. :) I hated living that way for the time we did, but we knew it would be worth it in the end!
Dinning Room..full of stuff....
Then you have the living room moved into the dining room.
Seth, on one of his many trips to Home Depot. :)
Working in the living room for a week, getting it ready, painted and prepped for carpet. We took a weeks vacation to get ready for this part of the house to be done. I made a creative memories page of a few pictures I took of the week. Denver on the couch, and Felix in the kitchen,. :)
Done... warm and cozy at last.......
Have a good week. Take care and God Bless.
